Episode 252: Tight End Preview With Jason DiRienzo

Paul and Matt are joined by special guest Jason DiRienzo (@allpurposescout) of Dynasty Football Factory and Co-host of the Devy Watch Podcast. The three of them discuss in detail the 2019 Tight End class. 

The first discussion is on the top three tight end prospects in the class, Noah Fant, TJ Hockenson & Irv Smith Jr. Jason goes through each of them and shares his thoughts on each player and how they will transition to the NFL. In addition we discuss the concerns each player has and if they are areas they can improve upon at the NFL level. 

Next the discussion focuses on Jace Sternberger, Dawson Knox, Kaden Smith and Isaac Nauta. Jason discusses each of these four prospects and trying to decipher between what he saw on film and what he saw at the combine when it comes to trying to determine how they may perform at the next level. 

Following these two, the discussion focuses on Josh Oliver and Kahale Warring, two prospects who have emerged and continue to rise on all three of their boards. 

To close out the show they discuss Alize Mack, Caleb Wilson, Foster Moreau, Drew Sample, Trevon Wesco, Dax Raymond and Tommy Sweeney and who from that group intrigues Jason the most.
