The two examine the traits of the running back position in great detail. They examine the notion of "idealism" at the position and the standards we implicitly use as part of our evaluation process. The two also investigate the impact of the "committee" structure of the running back position on the evaluation process. In addition, they examine the difference between evaluating change of direction versus lateral agility. Paul and Matt are joined by Bill Latin (@BillLatin) to announce that Bill has joined the Saturday2Sunday team as their fourth partner. The three of them discuss the plans to expand the coverage at Saturday2Sunday to include some free content on their website to help complement the coverage of the podcast. In addition the three of them discuss the library of premium notebooks they will start to offer this year at a first year introductory price of $9.99. The library of notebooks will consist of their 1. Scouting Notebook (which will consist of all their film notes for over 60 draft eligibile prospects and 20 or more non draft eligibile prospects) 2. Freshman Notebook (which will consist of a report on all the top freshman) 3. Draft Forecasting Spreadsheet (similar to the one offered the last two seasons) and 4. Rankings Notebook (which will consist of detailed devy rankings and rookie rankings). They discuss how the Scouting Notebook and the Rankings Notebook will be updated regularly througout the year and players will continue to be added in real time as they evaluate them during the season and then reevaluate many after the season in preparation for draft season. Following that the 3 of them do a 2018 Rookie Mock Draft with commentary on all 12 selections. Next they give a watchlist of other players by position that you should have on your radar for your devy and future dynasty rookie drafts.
